He had a friend who worked on Robby Gordan’s Trophy Truck, which sparked his interests more in the industry. Kyle decided he would start building things, since he was always modifying and perfecting everything he laid his eyes on. He started volunteering his time at various events like the Baja 1000 and Laughlin Desert Challenge. After deciding fabricating and racing was the right career path for him, he spent a few years building sand and desert race cars. He moved onto building a Class One race car, doing that for a few years also working the pits and maintenance on it. Kyle then worked for a team building multiple cars, two of which won King of the Hammers while he maintained them, and managed the pits. Continuously building his skills up getting better and better he was never satisfied always wanting to build something better and faster. Moving to Las Vegas, he found a home with Sorensen Motorsports. They have started making and building a solid foundation for the team ever since May 2015. In his off time he enjoys riding dirt bikes and other outdoor activities in the company of his wife and family. She picked up a camera and quickly discovered she had an eye and talent for photography and videography, so she combined her favorite hobby and motorsport mind set to end up in the industry. Shooting events like Endurocross, WORCS, AMA Big 6, and Lucas Oil. Karissa enjoys being able to create and promote various businesses as well. She is currently pursing a degree in Business Marketing.
